Job responsibilities of a Perot Museum IT intern include: providing computer technical support for end users, installing, upgrading, and configuring software, re-imaging computers with the proper OS and drivers, responding to computer issues daily via the ticketing systems, and assisting with maintain computer inventory. The Museum has a highly complex IT environment and is seeking an intern who is passionate about our mission. IT interns will gain hands-on experience in a Museum setting working directly with staff under management of the chief operating officer.

Background Investigation – Candidates who accept a conditional job offer will be sent an e-QIP application invite via email and will be scheduled for a Personnel Security Interview, pre-employment polygraph examination, urinalysis test and fingerprinting. They will also review your school, credit, arrest, medical and military records. The length of your background investigation depends on a number of different variables, including how quickly and thoroughly you complete and submit the e-QIP application; the extent of your foreign travel or time living abroad; and inconsistencies in the application and investigation process.
